Mr Kydd
Entomology Workshop Morning

Despite a surprisingly snowy start to the day, our entomologist, Kirk, managed to make it in to carry out an incredible series of workshops on bugs and their importance.
We saw praying mantises, Madagascan hissing cockroaches and even a jumping spider! We also learned some very interesting facts in our question and answer session. Did you know that the longest stick insect in the world can grow up to 64cm long?
We also found about volunteering opportunities with local Wildlife Trusts, the Greensand Trust and The Conservation Volunteers.
Thank you for our fantastic morning.
