Via an experienced and highly qualified SEND Advisory teacher and assessor, with a specialism in Cognition and learning, Weatherfield Academy have been supporting the Local Authority in helping to provide for learners and their families in mainstream and specialist provisions a bespoke Cognition & Learning Outreach Service. 

 

The Cognition & Learning Outreach Service is highly valued across the Central Bedfordshire region and has supported a large number of schools and families since its inception during 2021.  

 

The quality assurance from the work already carried out shows that this expertise has been welcomed and made a significant difference to the provisions and young people with whom the work has been carried out.
