Site Assistant

 

• 5 days a week, 30 hours a week/52 weeks a year. 

• Pay Scale NJC SCP 3-8

• Actual £16,440 - £17,861 per annum

Weatherfield Academy is a 7-19 age range SEND Academy with pupils who have Cognition and Learning Delay and additional needs taught in classes of approximately 10 students based in Dunstable.

​

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our Site Team, working both on site and grounds maintenance, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Academy.

​

The successful candidate will be vital part of the Site Team, in keeping the school functioning, particularly in respect of security, premises, and grounds maintenance.  This will include a range of managed planned and reactive site duties in line with the Academy Health & Safety policies and procedures. Working effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

​

We are looking for someone who thrives on a varied and flexible workload, with a proactive and conscientious approach. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous, along with a full current, clean driving licence.  The successful candidate would be subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
