Students in LAH and LAS visited Caldecotte as part of their Creative Curriculum topic 'Flow'. Whilst they were there they saw three different bodies of water; a lake, a canal and a river.
Students studied the flow rates of each body of water by playing a game of Pooh sticks, they noticed that the canal didn't have any flow because it was actually frozen! Students collected some soil from the side of the river that they took back to school to conduct a Science investigation, whereby they compared the river soil to soil from the grounds at Weatherfield. Even though it was extremely cold the students still had a brilliant time!
