Mud and Puddles

As part of Forest School the Lower School students recently visited the Green Lanes for a special 'Mud and Puddles' lesson. The walk was a great opportunity for the students to explore the outdoors and learn more about the environment.

Despite the rain, the students had a great time splashing in the puddles and exploring the mud!

Forest School is an excellent way for students to learn about the environment and develop their skills. By exploring and discovering while building fires, making dens, cooking on an open fire, and learning about the environment we live in, students can gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

At Weatherfield Academy, we believe that outdoor learning is an essential part of a student’s education. By providing opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom, we can help them develop a love for nature and a sense of responsibility for the environment.

We hope that the students of Weatherfield Academy continue to enjoy their Forest School lessons and that they will take the lessons they learn with them throughout their lives.
